Insert six 1. When the batteries run low and the battery voltage drops below a certain level, the PSR may not sound or function properly. As soon as this happens, replace them with a complete set of six new batteries. When the instrument is not in use, be sure to turn the power off. Press the switch again so that it pops up.

The practice steps below apply to either hand. Lesson 1 — Timing. This lesson step lets you practice just the timing of the notes. Lesson 2 — Waiting. In this lesson step, the PSR waits for you to play the correct notes before continuing playback of the song.

Its features include the following:. The P features a selection of ten voices and a maximum simultaneous note output of 32 polyphonic notes. One is a grand piano sound, with rich bass tones and sparkling high notes that capture the natural reverb characteristics of a real grand piano. The other is a bright contemporary piano that will make a perfect addition to any band. The P features Dual and Split voice modes that let you play combinations of two voices at once.

In Split mode, the key transpose values can even be set independently for each voice. The P thus gives you a wide range of performance flexibility in a single piano keyboard. The P offers many of the control features found on a MIDI master keyboard: velocity sensitivity, pitch bend and modulation wheels, an assignable data slider, program change send and receive capabilities, and MIDI transpose and MIDI merge functions. Also, in addition to jacks for sustain, soft, and sostenuto pedals, the P gives you the option of connecting a MIDI foot controller that can be assigned in the same manner as the continuous slider.

The P is a fine musical instrument composed of sensitive mechanisms and delicate digital circuitry.
